The Maryland Therapy Network’s schools and home-based programs, clinic, and dedicated staff have helped literally thousands of children with special needs. Our staff of more than 30 speech-language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, and special educators are supported by the following administrative team. Marie Noplock
In 1987, Marie expanded her solo speech-language pathology practice into a multi-disciplinary organization by employing both occupational and physical therapists. In 1992, she founded The Maryland Therapy Network, Inc., expanding her services again to treat children in Infant and Toddler programs. And, in 2002, she established the Children’s Center for Specialty Services, an outpatient clinic providing multi-disciplinary therapy services in Bel Air, Maryland. Most recently, in Fall 2009, she added special and early childhood education services to her growing practice. In addition to overseeing a growing business with over 30 staff members, Marie has been a tireless advocate for patients’ right to insured habilitative and rehabilitative care. As Director of Governmental Affairs for the Maryland Speech-Language-Hearing Association, she helped secure hearing aid benefits and therapy services for Maryland’s economically-disadvantaged children. Marie’s many contributions on behalf of children, her profession, and her community have earned her recognition from Maryland-Speech-Language-Hearing Association, the YWCA of the Greater Baltimore Area, the National Association of Women Business Owners, and Maryland’s Top 100 Women. Carol SimpsonCarol has been the Office Manager and Clinic Administrator for The Maryland Therapy Network for ten years. She is also in charge of Human Resources, managing this department for the more than 30 employees. Carol previously worked for The Arundel Corporation, Urban and Suburban Company, Fidelity and Deposit Corporation, and The Hammerman Organization. A Maryland native, she graduated from IND and received a secretarial degree from Strayer Business College. Additionally, Carol has received college credits for numerous managerial training seminars and basic computer knowledge. Patricia ReissWith more than fifteen years experience at The Maryland Therapy Network, Inc., Tricia is responsible for the coordination and placement of our therapists within the various education and healthcare organizations we serve. Additionally, she has more than twenty five years experience as a medical biller and is responsible for all TMTN contract billing. Tricia started her career working for the federal government at Fort Holabird, MD and later worked for the B&O Railroad. Carol SchoenbornBorn and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Carol Schoenborn has been with The Maryland Therapy Network, Inc. for more than twenty years. She received a B.S. Degree in Accounting from The Baltimore College of Commerce after graduating from Catholic High School. Carol previously was an accountant at Crown Central Petroleum Corporation and SPARC. Carol is responsible for our bookkeeping and accounting function associated with The Maryland Therapy Network. Dolores GillespieDolores Gillespie graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. Degree in Business Management and Informations Systems Management, in addition to A.A. Degrees in both Information Systems and Secretarial Science. She has been employed at The Maryland Therapy Network,Inc. for more than five years and is responsible for all state and private insurance billing. Previously, she has worked as a consultant for physicians and medical facilities supplying expertise for Medical Accounting practices and procedures. Terri SchepisAs our Quality Assurance Specialist, Terri Schepis is responsible for the collection of all medical reports and progress notes filed by the therapists on behalf of our clients and coordination of the necessary paperwork to the agencies and doctors we support. Susan MeurerSusan Meurer has been with us for more than 2 years and is an assistant to the President. She graduated cum laude from Western Maryland College with degrees in Economics and Political Science and earned a masters degree in Management from Johns Hopkins University. She previously was employed at Westinghouse Electric Corporation and GP International Engineering and Simulation, Inc. She is responsible for preparing bids and proposals in support of potential new business. |

Marie Noplock, founder and President of The Maryland Therapy Network, Inc., has over three decades of experience helping children with disabilities lead more productive, fulfilling lives. After earning a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Virginia, Marie worked in schools, Head Start centers, nursing homes, and hospitals. Through her years of experience, Marie realized that truly effective therapy requires a coordinated, multi-disciplinary approach and one-on-one attention.
