Taking a Team Approach to Your Child's Development

At The Maryland Therapy Network, Inc., we work as a team with your family, physician, and child's teachers to ensure your child's progress.  With 18 years of experience, we know that this carefully integrated approach gets the best results for your child and your family.  At our Children’s Center for Specialty Services in Bel Air, Maryland, and in home and school-based settings throughout the Baltimore metropolitan area, our team of specialists will:
  • Evaluate your child to diagnose his/her challenges and developa coordinated treatment and support plan.
  • Work closely with the child’s family, physician, and/or teachers and other caregivers to treat the diagnosed problems and help your support network understand and address your child's challenges.
  • Focuses one-on-one attention on your child to help him/her achieve the best possible results.

Offering a Full Range of Pediatric Therapies

Whether your child has single or multiple challenges, The Maryland Therapy Network has more than 30 experienced therapists to help.  Our services include speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, special education, early childhood services, and behavioral consultation services.

Speech-Language Pathology

Our highly trained, licensed and ASHA-certified* speech-language pathologists focus on helping children to:

  • Improve speech including articulation, voice and fluency
  • Enhance language skills; auditory comprehension and reading; oral expression and writing
  • Increase swallowing and oral-motor skills
*ASHA -  designated certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association

Occupational Therapy

Trained in early intervention and oral motor, and sensory integration, licensed therapists will evaluate and treat your child's orthopedic, developmental, and/or neurological problems.  Our therapists will help your child to:

  • Increase their fine motor, sensory motor, and visual motor skills
  • Improve dressing, eating, and oral motor skills
  • Adapt to home and community environments
  • Develop sensory integration skills

Physical Therapy

Experienced, licensed therapists evaluate and treat orthopedic, developmental, and/or neurological problems to:

  • Increase muscle strength, range of motion and endurance
  • Improve stability and balance for mobility
  • Decrease pain
